Application of glyoxal
As a versatile crosslinker with biodegradability, Glyoxal links a wide range of polymers, for example starch, cellulose, proteinaceous material, polyacrylamide and polyvinyl alcohols.
In textile and paper applications, Glyoxal is used as a crosslinking agent or building block for crosslinker for softer and less wrinkled textiles and enhanced wet/dry strength and efficient coating of paper.
It is also used as a crosslinker in leather tanning processes. Especially in epoxy for electronics application, Glyoxal plays a role of building block to bring higher epoxy stability performance.
In cosmetics, Glyoxal-crosslinking polymers (hydrocolloids) improves the viscosity. In disinfection application Glyoxal is a biocidal active ingredient for disinfection formulation in health industry and veterinary hygiene with the Protectol GL brand.
Also, Glyoxal can be used in wood hardening application for better protection from moisture.
The sulfur scavenging property allows Glyoxal to act as a H2S scavenger with biocidal effect in water treatment and oilfield industries. The glyoxal-crosslinking polymers (hydrocolloids) can also be used to improve viscosity in oil-drilling fluids.

STORAGE AND HANDLING
Glyoxal has a shelf life of 12 months if stored in cool dry place without exposure to air. The product may turn yellow on extended period of storage but it does not change its chemical properties.
We production glyoxal from 1996,and export via ourselves from 2011.We have obvious growth in sales each year,And now also continues to grow.
